HUNDREDS of free children’s books will be up for grabs once again at Hillstreet thanks to the return of our unique pop-up.
We have teamed up with the National Literacy Trust Hub in Middlesbrough to host our second ‘Pop-Up Story Shop’ after more than 200 families flocked to the first event to pick up their free story books.
Among the books being handed out at the ‘Bunny Book Brunch’ event is Peter Rabbit, to celebrate the recent film launch, and there will also be themed crafts and activities such as treasure hunts to keep children entertained.
Peter Drabble, centre manager, said: “We are delighted to be hosting our second event with the National Literacy Trust.
“The response from our customers at the last pop-up was extremely encouraging and we have received great feedback from the Middlesbrough community.
“I am confident we will see a similar turnout this week and I am looking forward to being able to host similar events in the near future.”
The completely free event is being held in the centre square, near Muffin Break, on Thursday 5th April, and doors will open at 11am.
It is part of the centre’s Kids Club, which now boasts more than 500 members. For more information and to sign up for free, please visit www.hillstreetshopping.co.uk
